Suunto Assists Red Bull X-Alps Athletes in the World's Toughest Adventure Race

Suunto partners the world’s toughest adventure race, the 2011 Red Bull X-Alps, for the third time running. Thirty-two athletes from 23 different nations race 864 km non-stop through the Alps to the Mediterranean Sea. The race begins in Salzburg, Austria on July 17, 2011 and finishes in Monaco. In between are eight turnpoints in Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and France.

The new member of the award-winning Suunto Core family, the limited Alpine Edition, is perfect for alpine adventures such as the 864 km hiking and paragliding race, the Red Bull X-Alps. The new sporty model features a green bezel, which highlights the display.
